We all know that sometimes telling children over and over again ,"Don't run in the house-someone is going to get hurt" just doesn't always sink in. Well poor Emily learned that lesson the hard way.
She was running into her room to put a book away, tripped and hit her head on the small bookshelf she has in there. I heard a loud bang and then her crying. I asked her where she hit and of course she showed me on the shelf, not on her body. 
I struggled with whether to take her in immediately to the doctor and decided to wait and she how she did. She is fine now, in fact she even wanted to play baseball a couple of hours later, but as you can tell from the pictures she was not happy that I was taking pictures.
