Run Emily Run!!

Soccer season has finally started (a little late due to lack of coaches). Emily did a great job, as did the rest of her team. We are trying to stress to her that the most important thing is to have fun and do her best. So, at the end of the game on the way home we asked her what the score was (she didn't know) and who won (she didn't know). We asked her if she cared who won and her answer was NO! We then asked if she had fun and she said YES!!

Jason wants me to make fresh dough for him to play with all of the time, so the other day I caved and made some basic dough. They made quite a mess with the flour, but it did keep them both pretty busy for a while. They needed cutters and rolling pins of course to aide in their creations.

Visit with Kirt's Parents

We went down to Kirt's parents' house over Labor Day weekend. As usual, the end of the visit comes and we realize that we didn't take many pictures. (OOPS!) Oh well, I guess we still have the memories even without photos. Kirt's brother and his wife were there with her 2 kids. Emily and Jason had a blast playing on the Mule and Go Kart. Such fun in just 2 1/2 days.
