Hard to believe that Jason is just 1 year away from Kindergarten! Time sure flies. He was very excited to start school this year. After posting Emily's first day of school 2008 photo, I decided to find Jason's. Boy has he grown up!

First Day of School
Where has 6 years gone? Hard to believe Emily is entering 1st grade today! I will update the post later to let you know how the day went.
Update: She had a very good first day of school. She really likes her teacher and was looking forward to going to school on the second day :)
Thought I wiould take a look back to see how much she has grown in just 1 year. Boy that year went by quickly!

Gotta Love the Beach
Something we don't see everyday- a pretty large jellyfish, it was bigger than the net they were using to try and catch fish!
Trying to catch some little fish. Not really successful, but they did catch 1.
Jason said he would keep an eye on the fish, so it didn't get away. He took his job very seriously :)Hard to believe the first day of school is tomorrow!!

Visiting with old friends
It's amazing how small the Air Force can be. We are now stationed, for the second time around, near 2 couples that we went to college with. It is so amazing that all 8 kids that we have collectively can play and its almost like we have lived near them forever. Sunday, August 16, 2009
Waiting on the Tropical Storm
According to the news there was a tropical storm headed our way, so we were eager to get the kids outside while the nice weather lasted. Of course, we didn't realize the nice weather lasted just about the whole day. There were occasional showers, but nothing out of ordinary Florida showers that last 20 minutes and are gone again. I guess there was some bad weather overnight, but not bad enough to wake us.
