More Photos from the Trip

Jason likes to swing, when will he be convinced that he is too big for this swing?!
Our neice Lilly helping Grandma in the yard.

I guess they were finally done swimming for the day.

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa

To kick off spring break this year we took a trip down to my parent's house and visited them for a few days. We started off with a trip to MOSI (Museum of Science and Industry) and were able to see the Body Worlds exhibit. This is the exhibit that shows the human body and its parts in a preserved state, very educational and interesting to see. The kids really enjoyed the interactive area and the IMAX movie. It's always nice to feel you learned something while on vacation.
Daddy was "helping" Jason pick up steel blocks with a magnetic crane.

Emily was looking at fossils with Grandma with the tug of war activity caught her attention.

After the museum, the kids were ready to get in the POOL!!
Then Daddy decided to join them for a little relaxation time, of course the kids had another plan for him. :)

Spring Carnival

Emily's school put on a spring carnival this year. The kids were able to do some putt-putt, bag toss games, football toss, bowling, and even take a hay ride. They had a blast. I would say their favorite was the inflatable slide. We all had a great night.

Emily's Second game

Emily had her second offical baseball game tonight. We are so proud of her efforts. She really seems to enjoy the game. Tonight the coach pitched to them and if they weren't able to hit the ball, they were allowed to use the tee. Her first at bat she ended up using the tee, but the second time she hit the first pitch and it was a double! She was very excited about it, and we were too. Great Job Emily!

Opening Day

Emily's opening day of baseball was today!! She was so excited this morning to wear her uniform for the first time. So at 6am Jason and Emily were up and getting the rest of the house up. We stopped along the way to the ball park and had breakfast. As with many things, we arrived on time only to wait, and wait, and wait to get started. Once everyone was lined up, they lined all the teams on the field and Opening Ceremonies began. From there we went to the activities that were set up for the kids to play. Jason was not big on the stuff to do, so we went from line to line and didn't really do much with him. Emily really enjoyed the things she went on. She started with a trampoline ride and then went on to the bungee races and finally to the big inflatable slide! Then it was time for lunch, pictures and oh that's right, her baseball game!!

She did really well, even hit a double. All in all a fun, but tiring day. After the game we came home for naps:-)
