Kirt's parents came up for a short visit and we had a great time. We visited the local State Park that we had not gotten around to visiting yet. It was very nice with a decent playground and a short nature trail. We may go back in the future and rent a kayak or canoe to paddle on the bayou. 
We were also able to enjoy the sights of these "little shanties" along the water's edge. Maybe one day...
